JJ moved to the United States in 2010 after traveling the world as a snowboarder. He's called Big Sky home since 2014, and when he needed something to fill the off season between training snowboard instructors, he discovered he had a natural ability for creating trails. What started as seasonal work turned into Montana Trail Line in 2021, and trails remain at the center of everything the business does—though the services have expanded to include landscaping and hardscaping that reflects the same attention to how land works and weathers over time.
